Philippians 4:10-13

Life Situations

We all have a craving for satisfaction - to be settled.

Paul has been through all the ups and downs of life.

(2 Corinthians 11:23-27)

The answer to our discontentment isn’t changing circumstances.

We must address what’s happening at a deeper level.

Contentment in Christ

The secret of being content is the same in all situations.

The key is that God is giving us the strength we need at all times.

We can rest knowing we will never face a situation beyond God’s strength.

Living Contently

We must be careful we don’t misidentify needs.

We can’t forget the power of God.

We must remember walking with Christ is not the means to a

greater end.

Jesus is both the source of and the strength for our contentment.
