National ID … cards that hold more info than a basic driver’s license.
These cards will restrict those not carrying one from air travel, train rides, from entrance into courts, and who knows what else.
At some point, maybe in the next 7 years, these National ID’s may restrict someone from buying and selling.
The US State Dept soon will be issuing passports with radio frequency ID’s embedded in them, and Virginia may be the first state to embed them into our driver’s licenses.
It was passed as something that would be voluntary, but it will in fact restrict some of our freedoms.
Rep. Ron Paul of Texas warned that the legislation, called the Real ID Act, gives unfettered authority to the Department of Homeland Security to design state ID cards and driver's licenses.
