God, you are mighty, omnipotent, all-lovin, in absolute control of every moment and element of life. You are King of all and deserve all of the praise we could ever give and more. Your fame and your name are the desire of our hearts. Even just the fact that we can talk to you is all of grace. Even in our sin, when we trust anything and everything to give us shelter, comfort, pleasure, and satisfaction over you, you give us second chances, And not just second chances but third and fourth and fifth and hundredth, and thousandth, and so on chances when we sin against you. We deserve all of the pains and eternity of Hell and yet you sent your son to take on the punishment out sin deserves and redeem us for Your name’s sake so that we could be in relationship with you. The fact that you give any of us even another breath is all of grace and an infinite and divine miracle. We deserve qnone of your grace and yet it is your good pleasure to freely give it to us. One of the biggest and most graces you give us is the church. The fact that we get to be wedded to Christ in eternity is a massive gift and blessing beyond what we can fathom. We know that you love your church dearly and care for her deeply. Forgive us when we take her for granted. You say in your Word that you obtained your church with your own blood. Let us feel the weight of that and strive to care for her even to a thousandth of the degree that you do.
