Consider God's provision and Promise:

John 10: 27 – 30
 
           
            Jesus is asked to give proof of who He is.
His response is that He has given proof
through the miracles but that the Jews did not believe.

            We are controlled by the Spirit if the Spirit of God lives in us.

The scriptural view of evil:  *
 
*  A.
The scriptures show us two types of evil, the sin we do (moral sin ) and   *
*       the consequences of our sinning (suffering)  *
* *
*    1.
Moral evil has to do with our obedience or our disobedience to God.*

*            ~* Satan provokes and arouses the sin we do (morally)*
* *
*            ~* The scriptures do not show demons that corrupt us morally.
*

*    2.
The consequences of sin or suffering is used by both God and Satan.*
* *
*            ~* Satan uses it to harm us and bring death*
* *
*            ~* The scriptures show demons who hurt and abuse us*
 
 
 
 
 
 
  B.
/Jesus cast out demons to get rid of suffering/; treating them like part of
        the curse brought on by Adam's sin.
Luke 13: 10 - 17
 
 
"... a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years.
She was bent over and could not straighten up at all.
When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, 'Woman, you are set free from your infirmity.'...immediately she straightened up ...'the Lord answered him, ' Then should not this woman, a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eighteen long years..."

His approach to them is the same as with others who needed relief
         from their suffering:
 
John 9: 1 - 7
 
"As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth.
His disciples asked him, ' Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?'  'Neither this man nor his parents sinned,' said Jesus, 'but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life...Having said this, he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man's eyes....So the man went and washed, and came home seeing."
Compare the attitude of the Pharisees John 9: 24 -34
 
".....To this they replied, ' You were steeped in sin at birth; how dare you lecture us!'
