Philippians 4:6-7

Don’t Be Anxious

In our anxiety, our minds run to everything that could go wrong.

In our anxiety, we push God out of His position.

Anxiety chokes out God’s Word (Luke 8:14) and weighs down our hearts (Proverbs 12:25).

We get tempted, but anxiety is never inevitable.

Present it to God

Prayer is a gift we must use in this battle.

Not only do we pray, but we must pray with thanksgiving.

We must use prayer to cast our anxieties on God and leave them with Him.

If God can handle our eternity, He can handle anything else in life.

Promise of Peace

God promises we will experience peace in bringing everything to Him.

This peace He gives will guard our hearts and minds.

God has the power to give us peace and keep us there.

God has promised us this peace and is incapable of breaking a promise.
