Middle School everyone wants to be accepted/Fit in/Be liked.
What are important values to this generation?
Authenticity/ Genuine/ Real/
Vulnerability/ Transparent
Wanting to be accepted
Romans 15:7
Therefore, accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory.
He didn’t settle when he accepted you
How have we been accepted by Christ?
He accepts our mess and renews it
He is the master recycler
1 Peter 2:9-10
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.
He Chose you!
Its not like being picked last for kickball or dodgeball in PE
What is it that we feel when we are accepted?
Why does it feel good to be accepted by people?
Tired of the facade
You can put your guard down
You can be real
As a his kids, the Lord has accepted us, sees value in us and wants to restore and renew us

I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.
