Philippians 2:5–11 NASB95
5 Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. 8 Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. 9 For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Isaiah 1:17–18 NASB95
17 Learn to do good; Seek justice, Reprove the ruthless, Defend the orphan, Plead for the widow. 18 “Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are as scarlet, They will be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They will be like wool.
Through obedience Jesus proved to be the Perfect Servant and Savior.

5. Pray for friends.
James 5:16 NASB95
16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.
This week a friend asked for prayer about a very specific situation and concern. this friend had been praying for weeks and months. Remember, God wants us connected. He wants us to serve and be served. So this friend and I prayed about a very specific situation. This friend didn’t want to have to say anything or be awkward. Well, within hours, God answered the prayer. Everyone did what they needed and my friend didn’t have to say a word. The situation that had been months became resolved by the evening. A skeptic will say that’s coincidence.
And had I not experienced God’s providence so many times, I might be inclined. Make no mistake about it, that was the Lord and His angels hearing the prayers of His children and responding. Think about it. At any other time, we could have said, well it just happened. But in this perfect timing, God gets the glory. You know why you don’t have some things in your life? You don’t pray with others, in right standing with God with the right understanding.
Are you living for God? That’s righteous. God will not bless your mess. Get to church, get in a group, serve. Then pray that you see Him at work and join Him. Then ask! and let Him go to work.
The one who kneels before God can stand against anything!
