We spent the month of February thinking and studying the ideas of justice, love and unity in relation to the realities of racism and bigotry in our world. We know that the only real answers to these evils comes from the heart of of God. Just as we are inherently evil, unable individually and corporately to build a perfect life, family, society or world because of our flawed natures - our God is the source of perfect love and redemption. All work to see our relationships with one another must begin with a right relationship with God. This relationship is initiated and completed by the Father, through the Son. Hope in Jesus is the only path we can follow forward. Our hope if found in nothing less than Jesus’ blood and in His righteousness. We dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly lean on Jesus’ name. On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand. All other ground is sinking sand.
