The Jewish Mishnah says, "Tradition is a fence around the Law." In Mark 7, we find Jesus rebuking the Pharisees' views on tradition versus the heart of God's Law. Our Lord had some strong words for those religious leaders, a summary for those listening in the crowd, and specific truths for His disciples.
