Philippians 4:4-5

Rejoice in The Lord

Joy is not an option but rather a command.

We need to remember that God has given us every reason to rejoice.

The more we remember who God is and what He’s done, the easier it is to rejoice.

Though we often push back, we must remember we are to rejoice always.

Gentleness Known

Gentleness means that we live in consideration of others.

We can only make gentleness known if we have it and take steps

to show it.

This gentleness must be shown to everyone.

Our gentleness is rooted in Christ.

The Lord is Near

This is a statement to believe and live out.

We must remember God is with us and Jesus’ return is coming.

Our joy increases as we remember this reality.

The urgency of what we must do for others also increases in this reality.
