See Through The Eye’s Of Christ
1 And his fullness fills you, even though you were once like corpses, dead in your sins and offenses.
2 It wasn’t that long ago that you lived in the religion, customs, and values of this world, obeying the dark ruler of the earthly realm who fills the atmosphere with his authority, and works diligently in the hearts of those who are disobedient to the truth of God.
3 The corruption that was in us from birth was expressed through the deeds and desires of our self-life. We lived by whatever natural cravings and thoughts our minds dictated, living as rebellious children subject to God’s wrath like everyone else.
4 But God still loved us with such great love. He is so rich in compassion and mercy.
5 Even when we were dead and doomed in our many sins, he united us into the very life of Christ and saved us by his wonderful grace!
6 He raised us up with Christ the exalted One, and we ascended with him into the glorious perfection and authority of the heavenly realm, for we are now co-seated as one with Christ!
7 Throughout the coming ages we will be the visible display of the infinite, limitless riches of his grace and kindness, which was showered upon us in Jesus Christ.
8 For it was only through this wonderful grace that we believed in him. Nothing we did could ever earn this salvation, for it was the gracious gift from God that brought us to Christ!
9 So no one will ever be able to boast, for salvation is never a reward for good works or human striving.
10 We have become his poetry, a re-created people that will fulfill the destiny he has given each of us, for we are joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. Even before we were born, God planned in advance our destiny and the good works we would do to fulfill it!
1 “Refuse to be a critic full of bias toward others, and judgment will not be passed on you.
2 For you’ll be judged by the same standard that you’ve used to judge others. The measurement you use on them will be used on you.
3 Why would you focus on the flaw in someone else’s life and yet fail to notice the glaring flaws of your own?
4 How could you say to your friend, ‘Let me show you where you’re wrong,’ when you’re guilty of even more?
5 You’re being hypercritical and a hypocrite! First acknowledge your own ‘blind spots’ and deal with them, and then you’ll be capable of dealing with the ‘blind spot’ of your friend.
Thus, if we will move in true discernment, our view of life must be purged of human thoughts and reactions. We must perceive life through the eyes of Christ. FANCIS FRANGIPANE
To judge means: to separate, to pick out, select, choose. By implication, it means to condemn, punish—avenge, conclude. It also carries the idea of having discernment.
We must uproot our old thought-systems that have not been planted in the divine soil of faith and love for people.
1. Spiritual discernment is the grace to see into the unseen.
2. Christ give us the ability to see into that which is in another’s heart, but He first reveals that which is in our own hearts.
Christ’s goal is to save, not judge. We are called to navigate the narrow and well-hidden path into the true nature of men’s needs.
13 Enter through the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and spacious and broad is the way that leads away to destruction, and many are those who are entering through it.
14 But the gate is narrow (contracted by pressure) and the way is straitened and compressed that leads away to life, and few are those who find it.
If we are truly going to help mankind, we must remember, exemplify Christ’s.
3. There are some can’s and cannot’s
A. In order to discern, we cannot respond carnally.
B. To perceive, we must make ourselves blind to what seems apparent. People may react to us, but we cannot react to them.
C. We must always be forgiving in nature, because the demons we cast out will come right back to challenge us.
D. We must discern the difference between an oppressing spirit and a person being oppressed.
4. Jesus prepared His disciples to be proactive in their forgiveness.
5. We are called to die that others may live. Therefore, we must realize that before our perception develops, our love must mature until our normal attitude is one of forgiveness.
6. We will presume we have discernment when, in truth, we are seeing through the veil of a critical spirit.
THE GOAL IS TO SEE CLEARLY
7. Jesus refers to the person who judges as a “hypocrite.”
We do not see clearly until we have been through deep and thorough repentance, until the instinct to judge after the flesh is uprooted.
8. How do you take a speck out of someone’s eye?
If we seek to have a heart that does not condemn, we must truly crucify our instinct to judge. Then we will have laid a true foundation for the gift of discernment, we will have prepared our hearts to receive the dreams, visions and insights from God.
We will be unstained by human bias and corruption.
