In week two, we see that Jeremiah was the lone truthful voice in a sea of hypocrites and liars. God rightfully judges the false teacher.
God does not tolerate lying and hypocrisy, especially when done in
his name. The believer should embrace truth, even if it is difficult to hear, instead of
searching for voices that will tell them what they want to hear.
