Does life matter.

I think that's her a pertinent question of specially for her for our DNA.

So it's interesting when I began to contemplate and prepare for the study for Jenna to begin sharing, my excitement about preaching to this this amazing.

But there were some that actually responded to, you really think Genesis is good idea.

Do you really think an old book like that and talking about things?

So distance in the past is really pertinent to our day and age.

Why not choose a book of the Bible that deals with the issues of today and first and foremost, you will not find me as your pastor preaching.

You will find me taking God's word, taking you through it, taking myself through it, and teaching us what God has to say.

And I believe, is we, as we go through God's words, we will learn What he has for us in every instance of life.

It says, for the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword.

And piercing as far as the division of Soul, and Spirit are both joints and an able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

God's word is living and regardless of where we are in God's word will regardless of what we are studying and going through as a church family, God's word is applicable to life.

It is relevant, as we look at what's going on in our day and age.

Hey, just be told when when we come in and we look at this question, does life matter?

when we look at that our society in our day and age, we we see that the life is determined by some interesting thing.

The value of life is determined by skin color.

So much.

So that even to the point of making certain people ashamed of the skin color that God gave them

Will we see you there?

But life and the value of it is determined by by one social status.

Really?

Have we stoop so low to think that that determines the value of life.

We will look around and we see that there is a a determination or value.

Because of gender or the lack thereof.

Craziness.

We see that that the value of life is now.

Relative to convenience.

And we stoop so low to think that if one's life is inconvenient, whether it be your own or someone else's that, it is no longer holds value.

This is the day and age that we are living in.

Who gets to determine this our judge.

Maybe we'll send it all the way to the Supreme Court and let them determine this.

Maybe the value of life is determined by a political party, which ever one is in office at that time and they get to determine the value of y.

Or or maybe that's that's even being too narrow-minded.

Let's just say The majorities Voice Whatever.

The majority of the population says, is the value of life, we will say that Is how life is determined to be valuable?

Or

and the problem is that all of those things are Big East.

A man's heart.

Man's opinion on society's flow, whichever way they may be going.

And I'll be honest.

That changes quicker than the weather.

There's nothing consistent about looking to man, and man's opinions and ideas, for, for the value of life.

I'd like to submit to you this morning that God and God Alone is the only one who has the right and the authority.

To determine the value of life.

And I believe that God stated very very clearly Crystal Clear inside in the passages that we are going to look at today, I would encourage you to turn first to Genesis chapter 9. We're going to read the first 7 versus and then we're going to jump over the song 139 Genesis 9 verse 1 says and God bless Noah and his sons and said be fruitful and multiply and fill the Earth.

The fear of you in the terror of you will be on every beast of the earth and on every bird in the sky with everything that creeps on the ground and all the fish of the sea into your hand.

They are given Free moving thing, that is alive shall be food for you.

I give all to you as I gave.

The green plant.

Only you shall not eat flesh with its life.

That is its blood.

Surely I will require your lifeblood from every bees.

I will require a pin from every man from Every Man's brother.

I will require the life of man roller sheds, man's blood by men, whose blood shall be shed for in the image of God.

Psalm 139 begins.

Oh, Lord.

You have searched me and know me.
