SCRIPTURE: 1 Samuel 30:1-2 * In the Bible the number three may signify completeness or finality so we need to make a move in this third month of our year of recovery. * David and him men reached Ziklag to discover their losses and pursue to recover on the third day. 1 Samuel 30:1 * When Israel left Egypt and crossed the Red Sea, "they went three days in the wilderness and found no water" Exodus 15:22-25 * On the third day they came to Marah where they found water but they could not drink it because it was bitter. Exodus 15:23 * Moses "cried out to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a tree. When he cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet" Exodus 15:25 * May every bitter water in your life be turned sweet this third month of this year of recovery. * Three days before they reached the river Jordan the people of Israel were asked to prepare themselves to cross the Jordan to possess the land. Joshua 1:10-11 * And as it had done in the shift from Moses to Joshua, the Jordan River parted for Elijah and Elisha, who crossed on dry ground 2 Kings 2:7-8 * The Jordan also the place of transition from John the Baptist to the ministry of Jesus-in fact, of new beginnings-it became the place where John baptized Jesus. Mark 1:9-10 * May you make a move and experience a transition this third month and may heaven open upon you. * On this third day like Easter, put on your royal robes, go before the king, Esther 5:1-3 * Mordecai heard of a plot by Haman to annihilate the Jews. Esther 3:12-13 * Esther however, could not approach the king without being called by the king since per the laws of the land she could be executed for approaching him unless he held out his golden scepter to her. Esther 4:11 * They therefore called for a 3 day fast and on the third day Esther made a move and approached the king. Esther 4:15 * May God grant you favor so that the king will extend the golden scepter to you like he did to Esther and may the Lord grant you your request. * The greatest third day move was made by God and it is the resurrection of Jesus. Luke 18:31-33 * You may have been betrayed to your enemies, mocked, insulted, spat upon, scourged, and your reputation, emotions, and body but this third month you will rise again - it is not the end.
