Just kidding.
All right.
All right.
We're going to be in the book of Galatians this morning.
If you have your Bible, you can turn to Galatians chapter 5.
Where we left off last week lations 5 and we're going to pick up verses 16 through 26 today, but we're for the sake of context.
We're going to pick back up in 14, the children are dismissed if children's church songs forgot.
All right now to stay late and a dollar short on that one everything already gone chapter 5 verses 14 through 26 is what we're going to read.
Honda we left off last week.
talking about what God has called us to do in the New Testament context and is to love God with all your heart all your soul all their mind and to love others and you spend some time delving into the verse is that The New Testament calls us to and how we are to love one what that means preferring one another praying for one another all those different things.
And if you were like me you have arrived at the end of that and there's no possible way.
I can do that in my own strength and power.
I will fall flat on my face and that is exactly what Paul is writing as well.
And if we try to do those things to love as Jesus is Alive at the new commandment that he gave his disciples in John 13.
Love as I have loved you that sacrificial love if we are to do that, it's not within our own strength.
It is within the power and the enabling power the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
God the spirit indwells the heart of every believer and he doesn't just come and in the Dwellers, but he is there to lead us and guide us Invictus to direct us into all truth and 202 my Transformers from the inside out to make us more into the image of Jesus.
So so that we can love is God has called us to love until that is the context in which where we're going to read these things today and just for sake of context we go back to verse 14 and Galatians chapter 5.
For the whole law is fulfilled in one statement.
Love your neighbor as yourself.
But if you bite and devour one another watch out or you will be consumed by one another.
What a great thing we left on last week how we have a choice each and every one of us can spend our our energy and are in our passion in our things on seeking the things to strive for the things that God is calling us to loving others serving others as Christ has loved us.
Praying for others to our actions and our attitudes in there are our thoughts are concerned about others and they're good to lift people up not tear them down with our words all those things that we talked about last week that can be our our desire as a Christian to pursue those things.
or we can easily just
default back to the flesh Where are energies in our affections and are the things that we do are still focused on people, but it's a negative thing.
As in 4 verse 15 instead of serving them.
We we can bite and devour one another.
And he says watch out or you will be consumed by one another.
So what is it going to be?
How are we going to spend our life and it's up to each and everyone of us to to engage the spirit to strive it to walk in the spirit as we'll be talking about today to have the enabling power to to live with God has called us out so that we are living in the power of the spirit and not in our flesh.
And it's so easy to do.
We're 16.
I say then he says how do you do this?
How do you love others as yourself out of your love is priceless love I stayed in the walk by the spirit.

Jealousy Outburst of anger selfish Ambitions dissensions factions Envy drunkenness carousing in anything similar.
I'm warning you about these things that I've warned you before those things those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God verse 22, but the Fruit of the Spirit
amen
if you're in Christ Jesus today you Have the spirit of God within you.

Let us also keep in step with the spirit.
let us not become conceited provoking one another envying one another until we see to contrast two different times that Paul contrast the fact that we can either do one of the other we can walk in the spirit or we can end and have our energy is directed towards building people up and serving one another and the power of the spirit or we can just those who are concerned about others and what they're doing or what they're not doing and provoking one another Indian one another.
I'm so what my prayer this morning is that we is re-engaged the scripture that we all individually and collectively as a church strive.
Be to walk in the spirit.
To be led by the spirit.
Those are the things are going Paul is is riding here that we are to walk and be led by the spirit to walk in step with the spirit Galatians.

I can say this because it's in Scripture that those he justified.
He also will glorify.
one day One day we will be out without the struggle of our sin.
We will send no more.
God will accomplish that perfect salvation.
Will there be no more sorrow no more suffering.
No more battling of sin.
That is to come.
In the presence of Jesus or if when he comes back.
That is the fruition.
That is the promise given to us in Scripture that there is coming a day but until then.
