As you do that, I want to share a story of the late President Calvin Coolidge one day he returned from the church service in the early afternoon and his wife that day was not able to attend with him.
And, and she was curious about the service, you know, what is the, what is the preacher talk on today?
In the, in the service?
And he being a man of few words, said, send She wanted a little more information so she prodded and trying to get a little bit more in it.
So he responded and said, well I think he was against
Today.
I wanted to be crystal clear.
That God is opposed to send thin is in direct opposition of of God.
And if God is opposed to it than you and I Should be opposed to it.
We're looking at the the story of Noah and the flood today in our in our scripture.
And and I and I wonder sometimes says no one who lives 950 years, don't know if you remember reading that but no one lived nine hundred fifty years has he thought back on his life.
If if you when he came to this that the other the memories Jenny just come flooding back to you.
It's interesting.
I find that one of the things that we decorate children's nurseries with Is Noah's Ark. Have you ever thought about that?
The greatest demonstration or what are the greatest demonstrations of of the wrath of God.
And where my let's put that in the nursery.
How wonderful and encouraging it'll make those little babies.
So happy Or we're trying to demonstrate to our children.
God takes in serious, you better go back one or the other.
But it is I find it fascinating that we do that today, in, in, in the short time that we have.
And I'm going to cover 3 chapter, so we're going to be cruising here but in the short time that we have, I want us to understand.
How horrid? the extent of sin was the extent of sin is and I want us to grasp with a better understanding The Amazing Grace that God has demonstrated and continues to demonstrate.
The people.
Please turn in your your scriptures to Genesis chapter 6.
You can follow along.
I want to read the first 8 verses in this chapter.
It says now it came about when men began to multiply on the face and the daughters were born to them.
That the sons of God saw that they lost my place there.
The sons of God, saw the daughters of men were beautiful and they took wives for themselves.
Whoever they chose then the Lord said, my spirit shall not strive with man forever because he is all all he also is flesh.
Nevertheless his days shall be a hundred and twenty years the Nephilim were on the earth in those days and also afterward when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men and they bore children Those were the Mighty Men Who were of old men of renown.

The Lord said I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the land from man to animals to creeping things into the birds of the sky.
For I am sorry that I have made them.
But Noah.
Found favor in the eyes of the Lord.
We come to is this, this portion of of of scripture and it's it's a sad state of where man has come to.
think about it, we have looked at only about ten generations and and we see the extent of the sin and an evil within the hearts of man and God looks down and and he's good at what he sees It is interesting that we see the pattern of sin reproducing over and over and over.
We see that there is something that is seen and then something that God created wonderfully, but man looks at it and, and he takes it and uses it in in gauges and Evil.
We see that in verse 2. There's been a great deal of discussion on different views on the sons of God in.
And I would venture to say is you were reading through Genesis, you came to this passage in your like, I wonder what the answer is going to say about that.
I came to this passage and I went, I wonder what I'm going to say about that, interesting?
As we look at that.
And I want to look at several different things that that, that the Illusions have has come to.
And I want us to address those just real briefly and I wanted to understand that.
Sometimes as we study through scripture, there are things that we come to that, make a scratch or hits.
There are things that are confusing in and we have to Grapple with those.
What are the things that I thought I encourage folks is when you come to a passage of scripture that is maybe a little confusing, makes you scratch your head that we look at it in the context of all scripture do that here.
There's some bad that believe that this was speaking of the Godly line of Seth and and the evil Lion of the canine sink in the coming together and inner marrying and all of that sand.
And and truth be told I guess you could see that.
I guess you could come out with that especially after the two genealogies that we looked at.
But really that doesn't do justice to the extent of sin and evil that we see hear and know, where do we see?
The goddamn told them that they couldn't marry each other and in from the different lines.
Sorry I really don't don't see that in just doesn't that the terminology of a brief?
Your doesn't really justify that.
In my mind, there's another view of the sons of God and that the Fallen Angels Came Down to Earth and they step outside of their bounds and begin to to have relations with with the women of Earth.
They looked at them they they were attracted and they began to have relations and that that holds maybe I mean I could understand.
We're so what is you come?
And you look at that, the really contradicts other things that we seen scripture.
If you turn over to Matthew chapter 22, verse 30, it says this, for in the resurrection they will neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.
We see that there's not that that marriage relationship and engaging in that way.
hey, so when we look at this, we look at other scriptures we see well that that couldn't be I, I tend to think along with a number of other Scholars here, does the sons of God refer to those.
Those individuals who are lustful, who are powerful striving for for fame and infertility?
beer in places of authority and power and then as they are, they are trying to continue their line on We we see different example, this in, as the Fallen Angels have been thrown down to earth.
We see that this Earth is Satan's domain.
Satan has control of this world that you and I live in.
Now, that does not mean that God has relinquished his control.
But this is Satan's domain.

Play.
Spiritual warfare is a real thing.
And the sad state is that we are seeing a fallen people.
A people who have gone so far from God that they are now looking around.
They are welcoming and they are inviting demonic beings to come into their lives.
And with that comes a a false sense of power.
A false sense of being something.
Amazing.
And we see.
That God looks down at the hearts of man and his greed so much so that they are inviting evil to come in.
Then do well.
You know what I find amazing is, even though these are great men of renown and and M powerful individuals, they are, but Flash.
These individuals still guy.
