Sermon Tone Analysis

Stronghold - A fortified place that Satan builds to exalt himself against the knowledge and plans of God.

An important thing to keep in mind is that Satan tries to conceal the fact that these strongholds exist.

Satan had tricked me into believing it was an unchangeable situation.

Personal Strongholds - *God only exalts and gives victory to the humble.

Through humility, repentance and holiness, personal strongholds can be torn down.

Strongholds of the Mind – *A mind set of hopelessness that causes the believer to accept as unchangeable.

He likes to *set mind limits* on the things we will believe in.

Limited or Incorrect knowledge of God

 

 

*2 Corinthians 10:4*

4 For the weapons of our warfare (Fight~/Battle) /are/ not carnal (Physical~/Flesh and Blood), but mighty through God (God’s Power) to the pulling down of strong holds (Overthrow~/Knock Down~/Destruction-Devils)

*Ephesians 6:12*

12 For we wrestle (Long Match~/Hit n Run) not against fleshb and blood (Fight against Humans), but against principalities (Evil Rulers with Authority~/Offices), against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world (Unseen Forces), against spiritual wickedness in high places (Supernatural Evil above Earth-They have Power).

*Ephesians **6:13** - 17*

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour (Defensive covering combat) of God (Put On every piece), that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day (Resist enemy and avoid danger), and having done all, to stand (Stand your ground-Don’t give in~/After battle still standing ”Firm”).



 

 

 14 Stand therefore (Hold your ground), having your loins girt about with truth (Wear Truth like a tight belt), and having on the breastplate of righteousness (Integrity~/Moral standards ~/ Right standing with God)

 

 

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;( For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News)-(To face the enemy with the Firm-Footed Stability, Promptness, Readiness)–(Fully prepared)

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith (Let your faith be like a shield), wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked (Satan uses Fire~/ Quench=Stop).

17 And take the helmet of salvation (God’s protection~/Knowledge), and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Power to Cut, Dice, Slice Both Ways):
