John 8:32 - And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

So what is the truth that shall set you free? What is truth? Will you really be free?
Truth by definition is “that which is true or in accordance with fact or reality.”

1. Spoken truth is hard to accept

Since the beginning of time, God first gave us Prophets and messengers to share God’s voice with the people, this was of course since Adam and Eve’s disobedience and ultimately exiled from the garden of Eden. But the people always had a chance to hear what God was trying to say.
In the Old Testament God’s speaks directly to us over 2,000 times. It may seem like its a lot, but its like a parent to a child, we at times have to correct the them so many times for the same thing. Sometimes we have to correct them before they do something…Mom’s know. But why then?
Man kind has looked for sooooo many loop holes in God’s word. Even trying to paraphrase it so it doesn’t seem as bad as it sounds (see the serpent with Eve) because that is what we do, its our nature to justify or hear what we think we want to hear.
The truth is an equal opportunist to all, wealthy - poor, short - tall, skin tones, dialects, in all matters the truth is for everyone. One thing we know is that the word of God is like a double edged sword (Hebrews 4:12) its meant to be as well. The truth with is fact or reality, wouldn’t hurt, if it weren’t true. That’s why today the world is trying to shut down the Bible and truth speakers. If it were just false and condemnation as such claim, they should be able to read it like we read a child’s tale. But we tend to shy a way from things and people who make us realize who we are.

Speaking truth in false times

You know one of the hardest things to do in today’s time is to speak about the Word of God, its Truth, and its reality to us today.
We are in a time, where people have created doctrine that is not in the bible or only partially. We are not even justifying to the non-believers we now find ourselves defending against other “religous” groups.
