Last week I suggested that the Christian Community is the ultimate enemy of racism. I believe this to be so. Not because of the institution itself or because of some type of political power it may wield. Not because of its raw theology or teaching. Not because of its impact on architecture or the arts. Not because of any other of a host of possible reasons, but because of the power and motivation behind, beneath and before the Church of Jesus. The true power of Christianity comes only from the Love of Christ. When we get this right, we can fulfill the work of both the Body of Christ and our own personal work within the greater movement of the Kingdom. On this day of Love, let’s be once more reminded of what our God teaches us about what true love should be. CCLI Streaming icense CSPL085064
