Shabbat shalom. Welcome to church of the Messiah. I think everyone is here knows who we are and has been here before maybe not but I think we're all kind of familiar. We just bless the kids. Does anyone know the word for bless? May the Lord bless you? Rockabye who the Rock and either be RH connected together. Consonants is blessed. Does anyone know what bless means?

Huh? To bend the knee Barack like the bend the knee up anything else.

It would have to be some sort of proclamation of favor sometime. It's like a it's like a anointing of favor. I would say so K anything else.

Declaration of what?

Blessing blessing. Yeah, we keep we keep looking back to the blessing part of the word. But when we say Baruch, Adonai bark bark number rock what are we saying? Bless you, Lord. or another word Praise You Lord So it doesn't just mean the anointing of a blessing on someone. It is that but it's also praising them. So when we bless our children.

I'm undone. What praising them with blessing or blessing them with praises? I don't know. Yes, okay, okay. I love these words. They drive me crazy, but I love them Mariah had a wonderful word. Thank you very much. Wonderful word. I also read that copper. You can see I'm not doing it today. I didn't include it. I'm just going to focus on Genesis. It's hard enough at least 27 vs. According to one commentator are the hardest words in the Bible to understand. And I think he might be right. I have studied this portion since 1994 every year except for maybe three and every year. I'm amazed with what I learned from it and this year I decided I'd try to figure out what it meant.

At least one explanation that I could accept. I'm not saying. It's the only one I'm not saying. It's absolutely true and eternal but I think I think there's something we can learn from it. And part of its driven by the year that were in. These are the last words of Jacob and when he completes these words what happens?

He pulls up his legs and his bed and dies goes on to the world to come. He knows he's going to a better place. He says that but he's no longer here. This is the last time Jacob can say words to his son. It's important. And according to any tradition, he must have been given a vision or an Insight or a meeting or conversation or something with either the Living God the angel of the god or the angel of God or somebody who told him what would happen in the last days in the AHA wreath. My I think that's it. I'll get to it later.

In the final analysis, so there's a finality here in these words and yet there's a promise in these words. And it's called a blessing and there's a lot of criticism on it being called a blessing because he's also cursing and other things. Hating other things but it's a blessing in a strange and unusual wake so the word that Mariah used to say that his word is like no, I'm paraphrasing or like ice like a wind. Okay, is it solid or is it like a wind? Yes, it's all that. Yes, and then she said and then it melts what's the image that we get when we see something melt.

Where's it going?

Huh away, right? It's leaving. It's right. That's actually not the meaning of the word. It is that it is that it can be a river but more importantly if you're in a desert and it happens to snow a lot and you want something to drink. What do you want the snow to do? melt so you can drink it. So it doesn't melt away it melts and now it can be taken in by the body and used God's word. accomplishes its purpose

amen

Lord I Thank you and ask your blessing please guide my words today that they are Appropriate for what you want to communicate and that your words are communicated and not mine. I ask this in Jesus name. Amen. And amen. Okay, why is it called a blessing? Go all the way to the verse after the last verse of the stator. It's I think it's actually the last verse of the Seder but we're not going to get into that. This is the next verse all these are the 12 tribes of Israel. And this is how their father spoke to them and blessed them The Rock. Giving each his own individual blessing now. That's a nice paraphrase. Blessing him individually as suitable for his Blessing. So this is his Blessing them with a suitable blessing. He's not just giving them a blessing that's meaningless. He's giving them a blessing that applies to who they are to their person to their flawed human nature and everything else. It's not just our God is a good god. He's going to give you a blessing. No, he's going to tell you all of your problems. You're going to come square with him with your shortcomings and failings and weaknesses and hurts Lupe.

I called him truth. I've been corrected and I stand corrected. I'm fine with that. I even sit corrected and stand. I'm not going to dance corrected.

his own individual blessing final words This week we read Jacobs final words as spoken on this earth. And the alarm has a in the season this causes us to reflect on the final words. We've each heard or wished to have heard. If you think back to your father's last words to you. Or your mother's last words to you or your brother's last words to you. Or someone else's last words do the last time I saw this person. I remember they said something and it meant something to me. They were important. It wasn't just a trivial conversation. There's substantiv meaning the last words or should be that's kind of wet cement here. Wished to hear before we begin. Let's take a moment to consider these words. Let's read and consider Jacobs words. So now we're going to read. Not the whole megillah that will be a few weeks from now, but we're going to read the whole portion.

with no apologies

interesting

something squirrely here

you starts off with Ruben before this. He says Reuben.

removed himself from his Preeminence he was pre-eminent and his Vigor and everything else. So you will not have a Bible.

Thanks. I apologize.

work fine at home

Let me not into their OK assemble and listen o sons of Jacob listen to Israel your father Ruben. You are my firstborn my might and the first fruits of my strength preeminent and dignity and preeminent in power but unstable as water you shall not have preeminence. He's taking away the first born status of Reuben. Because you went up to your father's bed. Then you defiled it. He went up to my couch. I think he's lucky to be alive.

But he is alive.

And Jacob is giving him last words and and Jacob is speaking truth. He's not leaving out any details. Is covering the essential nature here? And he's he knows that the tribes are going to continue in Ruben's going to be part of this big nation of Israel. He knows that the god his God will lead them forward even though they're messed up. It's okay to be messed up. You're going to deal with the consequences of it, but it's okay. One of the articles I read this week is that the church does not like to hear about judgment? We like to hear about blessings. but really

Blessings without judgment there's no dissing, you know for God to be a just God a righteous. God a good god. There has to be a judgment. A lot of Christians say I will not have to stand in the Judgment because I'm washed in the blood of Christ. Okay, I agree sort of. You're going to deal with something. I'm not sure what that means. But whatever you did in life. That was good. That will follow you whatever you did in life. That was not good that will follow you somehow and I'm not sure how the way we live affect our future. The Way We Walk affects who we are and even who are children become or or how are children relate to who we are which is how they become what they become so the impact of your actions

Go through all history. And that's how God made us. And he's pretty smart.

I'll leave it at that salmon and Simeon and Levi are brothers weapons of violence or their swords. Let my soul. Let my glory let my heaviness let my way dienes. Let me let my significance not come in to the council. Oh, my glory be not joined to their company for in their anger.

Honor not be connected with her people for in their anger. They killed men and it at their whim they may named cattle cursive B their anger for it has been Fierce. Their Fury is been cruel. I will divide them and Jacob and scatter them and his real indeed. Simeon does get divided kind of becomes part of the center of Israel that that's a long time from now. This is way back when Jacobs giving his Blessing long before they go into the land trying to read from the complete Jewish Bible David Stearns Edition. The thing about maiming cattle says they hums hamstrung oxen and some of your Rover versus another one is they tore down the wall to its foundations? The wall of the shechem was destroyed according to win one of the readings here.

So Judah your brother shall praise you your hand shall be on the neck of your enemies and your father's Sons will bow down before you Yehuda is a Lions Club Cub. My son you stand over the pray. He crouches down and stretches like a lion like a lion is who dares to provoke him? The scepter will not pass from Yehuda nor the ruler staff from between his legs until he comes to whom obedience belongs and it is he Whom The People's will obey tying his donkey to the vine his donkey his donkeys Colts to the choice grapevine. He washes his clothes and wine his robes in the blood of grapes. There are a lot of interpretations of what this means. But but one of them I learned this morning from rodka is that the the donkey Colt the babe that gets small donkeys is one of the ways that they made wine. It would make things a lot quicker and the whoever this person is his garments are apparently washed in the in wine and his robes in the blood of grapes at one of the images in this is the guy who is making the wine. Is getting stained by the blood of the grapes so it could be Messiah makes the wine. I'm okay with that. It could be it's being made.

on the Mount of blessing As we speak we may be drinking their wine could be I prayed for them. That way. I put my hand on Tommy Waller and prayed that. We would we would drink that wine and ending in the New Kingdom.

Cuz eyes will be darker than Wine his teeth whiter than milk. This is just a stark image that expresses Beauty.

There we go. Now we're going back.

Hope this goes forward.

The Sceptre will not pass from your Huda nor the ruler staff from between his legs until he comes to whom obedience belongs and it is he Whom The People's will obey this is the David Stearns version. This is the King James the scepter shall not depart from Judah nor a lawgiver from beneath between his feet until Shiloh comes so the scepter between his feet feet is he could say it's it's all authority and Dominion.

until Shiloh comes and then tell him shall be unto him shall be the Gathering of the people be this is the cjb back to see that one again. So this is acceptable not pass from the Hooten or the ruler staff in between his legs until he comes to whom obedience belongs and it is he Whom The People's will it be the term until Shiloh come? It's caused a lot of head-scratching and confusion and wisdom actually all of it from from this cryptic phrase that some people will say, we don't know what it means. We do what we do know what it means, but it means one of a few different things. So can we say this is definitely it and not this snow will go there. I'll take you there. The viewing will live at the seashore with ships anchoring a long has coast and on his board will be at the sea on siding. the dawn e cigars a strong donkey lying down in the Sheep sheds on seeing how good it is settled life and how pleasant the country he will bend his back to the burden and submit the fourth flavor then will judge his people as one of the tribes of Israel. Dan will be a Viper on the road a horned snake in the path that bites the horses heels so its Rider Falls backwards.

Dad, which means troop is a troop a troop will trip on him a triple troop on the truth because he will troop on there. He'll another's food is Rich actress food is Rich. He will provide food Fit For A King NAFTA Liza do set free that bears beautiful fawns. Cryptic stuff here, huh?

The Archers attacked him fiercely now, we're on Joseph shooting at him and pressing him hard, but his bow remain tot and his arms were made Nimble by the hands of the mighty one of Jacob from there from the shepherd the stone of Israel. Thank you, brother.

Stone of Israel by the god of your father Who will help you by El Shaddai who will bless you with blessings from heaven above blessings from the deep line below blessings from the breasts and blessings from the womb. The blessings of your father are more powerful than the blessings of my parents extending to the farthest of the Everlasting Hills. They will be on the head of Joseph Yosef on the brow of the prince among his brothers. Kasim Joseph is getting the first born blessing here. Benjamin is a ravenous wolf in the morning. He devours the prey and in the evening still dividing the spoil another way of understanding. This is that benyamine is a wolf who kills the prey and distributes the plunder. So it's apparently a mom wolf who's giving stuff out to orchids. It's it's not it's not dividing the spoil. It's Distributing. What what was gained in the in the battle? All these are the 12 tribes of Israel in this is how their father spoke to them and bless them giving each his own individual blessing. As I said before Barack Barack mentioned three times here. It's a blessing.

Then he charged them as follow follows. I am to be gathered to my people bury me with my ancestors in the cave. That is by the field of it from the hittite the cave in the field of machpelah by memory in the land of Cana on which opera house bought with the field from Ephron the hittite as a burial place belonging to him there. They buried Abraham and his wife Sarah there. They've are you sucking his wife Ruth Kim there I buried layout the field in the cave in it, which was purchased from the sons of Heth When your October finished charging his sons he dropped his legs in his bed freezes last it was gathered to his people.

So I can't read last words without thinking about my dad my mom. friends Who are no longer in the world?

I remembered whitefriars last words to me.

Baruch Hashem

Praise be the Lord blessed be the Lord. So what is this not? Okay. First of all, we're trying to figure out what it is. What's the one of these 27 verses? What are they? What's it not it's not a raffle unloving assessment of songs that can be read that way. But when we try to read it, that way we get very very confused because there's some really good things going on here. And it is not a final judgment. This is not a judgment of Ruben a final judgment Rubin room is going to continue in the tribes is going to still have an influence. It's not going to be like the other brothers, but he's still going to have an influence many things to these Sons had seemed final. If you think about what did they think was Final couldn't be undone that they couldn't, you know get passed. They thought they they could never get the flowers forgiveness for sins. They they committed Reuben didn't think he'd ever be forgiven for sleeping with his father's wife. the Well, apparently candy forgiven. I'm not sure how check them Simeon and Levi the kill all the neighbors and tear down their walls and it makes him a bad stench in the whole region.

Integrity of Jacob's family was in doubt. Let's say in that region after he killed all the chicken mites. They killed all the shack in my Sims. Okay. We've got a few of Judah since Judah left. His family doesn't want to be there anymore because he's kind of bummed out I think because of what happened to Joseph. So he leaves his family and decides he's going to have sex with a prostitute so he has sex with a prostitute but she's not a prostitute. She is his daughter-in-law now. This is a really good thing to happen in it. How can you get past this you kind of can't this is a pretty bad thing. I think he thought he couldn't be forgiven for that. I think he thought it couldn't be undone Joseph's death. They lied about Joseph death and the fear Joseph now picture that the brother is going the 11 Brothers going down to Egypt and appearing before the before this guy and have begging him for food and wine to give him money and realizing it every minute that he has the authority to kill them right now. So they went before Joseph almost like one goes before God.

There's a sermon I don't like it, but I'm going to make reference to it was kind of like they had to go and face an Angry God. No. They were just begging for food, but they they knew what they done and they carry their stuff with them. And so they had this absolute need. I think in their minds to keep things hidden to not even talk about him all the stuff that we've done is so bad. We're not even going to talk about it. And that happens in a lot of her family's. It just does.

It just does the dad wants to speak truth into this disastrous situation.

And he knows God has a plan for it. And they also had constant guilt for sin over Joseph that they didn't think they'd ever be free of this guilt. So those are some things that were final this is what 49 1 through 27 is not what is it? I'm glad you asked. This happens to be the first long sustained poem in the entire Bible very long poem. It's very confusing. It's at once a blessing A Farewell and a tribal poem. What do I mean tribal poem The the brothers probably taught this to their sons who taught them to their sons who taught them to their sons and so on and it may have even been a song of praise.

At one point because these are the words of Jacob these words have truth about the end times. They don't know what they mean. But they know they're true. The Living God has somehow given Jacob something and he's giving them something of what the Living God gave Jacob. And in this isn't the only place where this is recorded that this is what happened. There are many ancient testimonies the testimony of Joseph the testimony of Judah the testimony of this many ancient Simeon there many ancient testimonies in these testimonies and I don't take them to be scripture, but they they say that Jacob met with an angel or something like that and he get in the angel gave them these words and so so they Doesn't matter whether these are true or not in the ancient Israelite world, the people believed these words. We're Jacobs words. What Jacob could share from what God told Jacob that's clear. We don't we don't know anything more than that. I enjoyed your conversation on that. What are they there many many many mixed ideas with difficult to lose their meanings. It's very difficult to understand them their blessings and curses. There's just a judgment and praise there's geography and history this past events and future promise and there's a promise of life in this world the alarm Harbour Jose. The alarm has a this this world the world that is the the forever that is the alarm has a and the alarm Harbour the forever that's coming the world to come. It's both promise of life in this world and the next Praise You Lord timing

What's the timing of these words a lot of these words seem to relate to after they go into the land Simeon is in the middle of Judah, etc, etc. So here's a chronology God's covenant with Abraham Isaac Spurs, Jacob. Less two sons Jewish Nation left is Egypt why that one because when they left Egypt they were no longer slaves. So the promise was you're going to be in a foreign land. You can be afflicted for 400 years one tradition has it that it's from Isaac's birth until the time they left Egypt. I like it's a little bit shy of 400. Another tradition is it's between God's covenant to Abraham and it's them leaving Egypt 430 years 430 + 370 / 2. Let me see that's 400 years so it could mean God's kind of referring to both events. I don't know. I'm not going to try to figure that out. I just interesting this is using Mattis cantor's chronology. Bottom line if this has anything to do with when they go into it before they go if this has anything to do with when they go into the land because that's when some of the prophecy seem to be happening. It's at least 200 three years 233 years to the Jordan Crossing from the blessing. So if my father told me something that's going to happen 233 years or more from now regarding me. I would be very confused. But I might sing a song about it.

Do what I mean. They still here. So here's a map of Israel. And this is roughly at the time of Joshua. So this is not the tribal distribution. You may be familiar with this is the travel distribution as well as we can do it that took place around the time of Joshua 1210 50 BC roughly according to the Book of Joshua. So if you're looking for trouble boundaries, this is it you can see that Simeon is buried in the middle of Judah.

It's right here. And you can see that Zebulon right here is nowhere near the Seacoast. It says he's by the Sea a Haven for ships and it says that his border goes to sidon, which is here. So that prophecy makes no sense. It's very confusing. The only way that it can make sense. Is it sometime in the future or maybe the past the blue one is going to be controlling this whole coastline. He's going to be a ship fairing kind of guy and he's going to be controlling the coastline of what was once called Sidonia. So it could be not just the city but the whole the whole region that's that's my take on that when you divide this up and you say okay. So let me try to make sense here. Okay, so they're the South tribes and their the northern tribes and if you look at the history as expressed in the Bible, most of the battles most of the fighting with the Philistines and amalek Cetera are in the South and the edomites in the moabites and ammonites most of them are in the South some of them. Some of them are in Manassas Manassas here. This is Joseph and this is a frying that's Joseph. So Joseph is occupying The Lion's Share of the property. So he has been given the double portion. And in Joshua even says he gets the double portion.

Interesting. I thought this was about Judah it is and then the northern tribes you don't read a lot about battles in the north Asher has wonderful food. What's that about? Well, if you live by the seashore and you were involved in trade you have access to all the food in the world.

Not the wise like a do like a deer like a tree. Let's see. That's the Hill Country.

kind of M&S is giving more land because he takes part of the Hill Country.

No fun. So here are the tribes again blessings 203 years 30 years later. So I'm approaching this on this as if some of these blessings have to do with Israel being in war in the. Of the conquest. It makes sense. Send me and Levi are scattered in Israel. Dan bites the horses heels and its Rider Falls. That's definitely a warlike. blessing right God raised the Raiders heels. Benjamin kills the prey and distributes the plunder judah's lion he rises from the pray. He takes down the enemy. Who's going to attack him at one point? Nobody Joseph archers attacked his bow with steady. He occupied the middle of the land again. Big section minassian frame no matter where they attacked him from he had a bunch of people who could who could go in the battle and they were very strong very strong.

And then and then the North had less war Zebulon side and Asher richfood NAFTA lie Mountain do Isa carsol resting place. So he's a car so nice place to take to get to the live. Nice ground is Farmland. I stuff to have around any decided. He just stay there. Not really about war but I think about the land. I think this is a 230 or more year later prophecy. That that's my current best guess on what this is and then and then if you go all the way through the whole thing you go. This is really about Judah and Joseph and the first few times. I read this I focused on Messiah. . Cuz I thought that's what it's all about. Besides going to rule the scepter won't depart all that stuff. but On a tighter read Joseph received the birthright. He is the firstborn equivalent now. Interesting Lee enough. He's the firstborn that's forbidden to be the firstborn. You're not allowed to take the firstborn status from a natural first born son and give it to the first born son of a favored wife. not allowed to but he did. clearly

1st Chronicles 5 to also says achieve came from Joseph but the birthright belonged to Judah but the birthright belong to Joseph. How do we make sense of this? Will go forward Joseph preeminence blessings of both Jacob and Moses. They both give Joseph preeminence. Joshua gives Joseph more than allotments and Ezekiel 47 about the far distant future Third Temple. Ezekiel Joshua double portion so it's not just about Judah.

This is big. Joseph received the birthright but you two became the leader of the tribes and numbers to it's a tribal banners the tribal camping the tribal and can't all that stuff the order of March Judy Rubin the frame and Dan are the leaders of the four divisions. So Judah and the frame are the leaders of the north, I think and South divisions, and this is according to JPS numbers is one of my references Judah, Messianic future. Judah Messianic future Brothers will praise you. Your father's son's will bow before you this. It was repeated in his dreams. Your hand will be on your enemies neck. You hear the ideas the enemies trying to flee and he grabs the neck and goes.

Got total control of the enemy the Sceptre won't depart from Judah nor the ruling staff between his feet till Shiloh comes. the verse til Shiloh comes

Shiloh and Jerusalem What's Shiloh? Well, there are only two places where God shows his name to dwell. Shiloh when they went into the land you guys have been there you probably remember the the odor of the the land Maybe.

The Tabernacle was there. This was Joshua's religious headquarters and what it was and what he fought out of but it's where God dwelt it's about 30 miles from Jerusalem, but eventually much evil was done. There was destroyed in 1050 BC by God according to the Bible. It says by God, but in all probability was destroyed physically by the Philistines completely destroyed and Jerusalem was destroyed twice for the evil done there the evil done in Jerusalem. The first temple was destroyed because of idolatry. Which is what took place in Shiloh. and other things and the second time it was destroyed for unwarranted hatred. They didn't honor each other and they hated each other and there's a few instances where the priest is ascending to offering a sacrifice at the altar and is killed by another priest because on the on the ramp, I still buy the other priests why because the other priest wants to be the one that does that show that's a really good thing. That's why the second temple was destroyed unwarranted hatred. So Jerusalem was destroyed twice for the evil done there go to my place. This is Jeremiah before the destruction. That was in Shiloh where I made my name dwell, see what I did to it. What I did to Shiloh because of the evil is real did go to Shiloh and see how much I destroyed it. God says because of the evil my people did there you don't want to do the same thing in Jerusalem is what God's trying to sit say through Jeremiah and Ezekiel. Ezekiel set in time kind of thing anyway.

God regarding either the throne Or the temple or both. God says a ruin ruin ruin. I'll make it what to talk about the throne and or the temple. This shall be unto he comes the one to whom judgment the lungs and I will give it to him.

Jerusalem and the throne God promises judgments going to come. And he's going to destroy everything. In preparation for the one to whom judgment belongs to come and he's going to give it all of it Shiloh to him not to Shiloh but everything.

What's meant by til Shiloh comes actually there more than four possibilities, but these are the main ones. Depending on the nuances of the language of the languages the roof may have come from one of them is until tribute is brought to him. Does that work with the Messiah?

It does till tribute is brought to him. Acadian till the counselor comes does that work with the Messiah?

You could say no. That's the Holy Spirit but I would say yeah. God Jesus. Yep till Judith David Messiah comes to Shiloh which means to a place outside of Jerusalem, which means the whole world. Does that apply to Messiah? Yep. To he Dil He To whom it belongs. All of it comes does that fit with Messiah? Yeah. This is the most ancient testimony till he to whom it belongs comes.

Yes, he's coming. It's going to be.

Built with everything's going to be dealt with all of our problems are going to be dealt with yes.

Until until until God it's not until God visits his presence in the people. Yeah. Well, that's actually yeah until he comes in and The Obedience of all will be his is that stuff you read Around the verses in that's all in there. That's all in there. Anyone else. Nope. Okay enough on that lot of details. Do I have anything else on this? Yeah, I do. Sorry, Tria, so I won't spend a lot of time on this y'all both Shiloh. They evolve a Eevee evolve until you know forever and ever they are both Shiloh until Shiloh comes if you break up the consonants the numerical values 3:58 if you break up meshiaak the numerical values 358 not going to spend any more time on that. But if you want to think that your Mantra is not applicable to Christians. Well now we have about four places in the New Testament where numbers are referred to and they definitely means something like 666 or 3:18 or 72 or other things. So I'm not sure it doesn't apply to Christians. I just think. It's interesting and I'm not surprised that kamatra matches all of the interpretations of the word that I can come up with. So praise you God for coming. Now and in the world to come this is all been for several weeks now about the Coon alarm about repairing the world Neja. We need to Coon hunt alarm for the sake of repairing the world who repairs it. Who assist. What's our part God's the only one who can fix what's broken. He's the only one who can heal her wounds. What's our part? We need to bring them to him. If we don't want to bring them to him if we want to be like the brothers and be secret and hide things that you can't be healed. If you don't want to come to grips with your wounds, you can't receive healing. If you if you can't come to grips with what you've done wrong, you can't receive healing and forgiveness and renewal and restoration and New Life. He makes all things new and he desires and waits for our involvement. Is Judah Etc went to Joseph now? picture Judah & The Brothers going to Joseph He has the authority to kill them any second. They know that. They're begging him. For food what they need and eventually they come around to confessing sin. failing

and he repairs the world judah's confession for the brothers kind of repairs all of the wounds the family had had And the world is a better place. And I asked it a few weeks ago. How is it possible? The world could be a better place after send than before it ever happened. Because that's how God made it. He knew we would sin. He planned or forgiveness confession forgiveness. repentance restoration renewal Redemption A Whole, New World That's how you get there. As Judah went to Joseph.

so when we go to the Lord We need a little bit of that. He's capable of ending my life any minute. He knows the evil. I've done he knows the wrong things. I've done he knows what needs fixed. He knows how broken I am. If I need healing or how you are if you need healing he knows already. We need to go before him kind of like going before the grand visor of Egypt. Fearfully aware that he has the power. To do good for us or to do evil for us. He will only do good. We can be confident of that. We can be absolutely confident that but take away the fear and you're not realizing how powerful this is.

We need to bring our needs and confess our feelings before him. We need to say the words to him and two others that needs spoken. These words need spoken ideally before we're in the next world. These words need spoken in this world. If there's something you need to say to someone that really needs said say it while you still have time because the day is coming when you will not have time.

While we are in this world even if such words aren't spoken in this world and often people say I wish I'd had these words with my dad. I wish my father had said this I wish my father hadn't been like this. I wish I wish I wish I wish but it's too late because he's now not here anymore. And those words can't be spoken. I'm not sure it matters. Wherever those people are.

Wherever they are.

They now know the truth. If they departed this world they now know the truth. and I think just like the the rich man and Lazarus in the parable that Jesus taught which I think is a true story.

I think whoever you didn't hear those words from is actually praying for you today.

The healing that needed to take place can take place if you realize this was not final. The healing in your life is still possible.

You hear me? Yeah.

said forgiveness

right

after the person has passed you can still have forgiveness for that person. Yes. And it heals you and so maybe that's what you're telling us this morning is that there was a forgiver.

Yeah, that's what it did Jacobs Jacobs blessing makes no sense. If he has not in a sense for giving his son's recognizing their failings and yet knows that Messiah is going to fix it all and it the first born Joseph is going to honor them in this world and they're going to continue to be able to live a life. In the tribe in the nation of Israel, it's not it seems like it's over but it's it's not over yet. It will be over but it's not over yet. And I think those who have gone before us no matter where they are. NN my own view is there either in Paradise within the bosom of Abraham or they're in Shale or they're both in Shale Shale one place with two places. The other place is Hades a place of Torment difficulty. That's just from the Bible. I mean, you know from the New Testament from Jesus taught the reader in one place or the other but the people who are in the place of of suffering have an ability to ask to pray.

And I think those have gone before us who we don't think are in a good place. Are praying for us and if they're praying for us, I believe they're kind of an equivalent since asking for my forgiveness there. They know the truth if they know the truth. There's no denouncing the truth. There's no. Oh, that's really. Oh, okay. Oh, I didn't know. Yeah, you do now that you know when you're there So the the the the rich man sees how bad it was and he says please send somebody all they won't believe them. But he's talking. This conversation going on. I don't understand this. But I believe that the people have gone before you who you have issues with.

know the truth

and are actually praying for you. It can't it to me. It doesn't make sense. Any other way I could be completely wrong and I'm okay if I am but that's my own. That's my own assessment even if such words aren't spoken. We enter the alarm but Harbour and all is known words spoken in the depths of our spirit are known everyone. Everything is known those who have gone before us Lift us up in prayer. He makes all things new this I absolutely absolutely believe closing prayer so We prayed this a few weeks ago.

I tried rewriting it and I decided it's okay. Okay.

You don't have to join me verbally, but you can if you want to. Just stuck. By your heads and and I asked the Lord their lord and savior our healer our helper our protector. We confess our sins and our shortcomings and acknowledge that we fallen short of your glory and our thoughts words and deeds. We humbly ask you to help us to love you with all that we are first of all to love you. And to love our neighbors as ourselves because that's how we express our love for you. Please preserve forgive heal restore and lead us in your presence guide us in your ways and help us help you and being a blessing to others. Amen. Amen. And if you're interested in the here Hebrew, there it is. And if you're interested in transliteration, there it is.
