I. We Are More Than the Choices We Make

Often we allow the choices we make to fefine how we see ourselfves.
We see a big scarlet letter,
A label that can become a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Those unhealthy labels are lies the enemy (Satan)
Wants us to never let go of.
We Are More Than the Choices We Make God’s love,
We are remade and are no longer,
Labeled by our past mistakes.
With God, we can find our true identity.
I have seen people move from lives of sorrow
To lives of joy,
When they open their hearts to receive, His love,
And forgiveness.
In Him we are truly remade.
We toss away any labels the enemy (Satan)
Has us believing and raises our eyes to the Lord.
For a true picture of who we truly are.
The Scripture has a lot to say about who we are in Christ,
We can dig in to find the truth,
We can expose the lies,
We have believed about who we are.
By looking to God and to scripture
You will find that God’s love is enormous,
That you can find your identity in Him,
Not in your mistakes.
God created us and has a plan for us.
We need to understand that,
No matter what lies
We believe,
God sees us as His beloved children.
When we, allow God to erase the lies,
We carry from our past,
We will begin to see ourselves as He sees us:
Without blame.
Ephesians 2:4–5 KJV 1900
But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
Ephesians 2:10 KJV 1900
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 1:4 KJV 1900
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
