FORGET NOT ALL HIS BENEFITS

Psalm 103:1-2

INTRODUCTION

(James 1:17)  Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

Count you blessing, name them one by one...

What I am most thankful for...

1A.       MY SAVIOR

(Psalms 118:21)  I will give you thanks, for you answered me; you have become my salvation.

(1 Corinthians 15:57)  But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

2A.       MY FAMILY

(Psalms 127:3)  Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him.

(Joshua 24:15)...But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD."

3A.       MY CHURCH

(Colossians 1:3‑4)  We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, {4} because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all the saints‑‑

(Ephesians 1:16)  I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers.

4A.       MY COUNTRY

(Psalms 147:20)  He has done this for no other nation; ... Praise the LORD.

APPLICATION

COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS...

A father and his little girl were walking together one clear, wintry night. The little girl said, “Father, I am going to count the stars.” The father heard her count to 225. The he heard her sigh, “ O dear, I had no idea there were so many. I don’t believe I can ever count them all!” The wise father answered, “The stars are just like God’s benefits. God showers us with his blessings and benefits day by day. There are so many of them that we can never count them all”

What are you thankful for?
