· 5 viewsWhen we face the times in life when everything we expected to happen hasn't, then we may ask, "What not?" The stress will call for a fight or flight decision. The Christian must choose to stand and fight steadfastly as a Christian ought to do, as the Church does here.

What Now? Flight?
A. Peter and all the disciples know this response well. The all ran the night Jesus was arrested. Peter denied 3 times that he even knew Jesus.
B. When we are confronted with the stresses of our day it would be very easy to fly.
Psalm 11:title–4 (ESV)
1 In the Lord I take refuge;
how can you say to my soul,
“Flee like a bird to your mountain,
2 for behold, the wicked bend the bow;
they have fitted their arrow to the string
to shoot in the dark at the upright in heart;
3 if the foundations are destroyed,
what can the righteous do?”
4 The Lord is in his holy temple;
the Lord’s throne is in heaven;
his eyes see, his eyelids test the children of man.

A. Enter in to Seek the Lord
But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
B. Empowered by the Spirit of the Lord
C. Emerge in Service for the Lord
