Everything we do in life is connected to our vision. Vision defines our purpose. It is the connection to our destiny. The Vision of the Church is to serve our community and touch our world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Value of Vision

Read: Habakkuk 2:2-3

2 And the Lord answered me: “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. 3 For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.

Why is vision so important?

I have become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some. 23 I do it all for the sake of the gospel, that I may share with them in its blessings.

Paul was focused on his mission.

What has God given us to interact with the world?
The Lord has given man 5 senses

++Eyes to see

All theses senses are valuable

What do natural senses do for us?
They bring
++Clarity
++Confidence
They help us
++Connect to life
++Interact with others

They are Limited

The Source of Vision

Where does vision come from?

Visions comes from God

Through visions
++Comes revelation
++God makes God known
God’s priority is
++First show you who He is
++Then to reveal who we are.

That we may see
