Oh, magnify the LORD with me, And let us exalt His name together! ******************************************************** THE PRELUDE.................................................Variations on the Hymns THE GREETING OF THE CONGREGATION *THE CALL TO WORSHIP..................................From Ephesians 3:14-18 Leader: Come and kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. All: From his glorious riches he may strengthen us with power through his Spirit so that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith. Leader: And being rooted and established in love, together with all the Lord's holy people, All: May we grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ. *THE INVOCATION & THE LORD'S PRAYER Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen. *THE HYMN OF PRAISE................................Jesus Cast A Look On Me RIVATE & CORPORATE CONFESSION OF SIN All: Lord, though you should guide us, we inform ourselves; though you should rule us, we control ourselves; though you should fulfill us, we console ourselves. We think your truth too high, your will too hard, your power too remote, your love too free. But they are not! And without them, we are of all people most miserable. Now heal our confused minds with your word, heal our divided wills with your law, heal our troubled consciences with your love, heal our anxious hearts with your presence, all for the sake of your Son, who loved us and gave himself for us. Amen. ASSURANCE OF PARDON & PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING From Ephesians 5:23-27 - Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. *THE PSALM OF WORSHIP...................Glorious & Mighty (Psalm 96/145) *THE TEACHING OF FAITH............................The WSC Questions 2-3 SCRIPTURE READING - LECTIO CONTINUA......................Exodus 33 The Reader: This is the Word of the Lord!
