Some of you may be suffering today and our response to suffering each time can be, “God what’s the deal?”
As we go through this passage today I want you to keep in mind what is making you suffer. If you are like me then when suffering happens you think:
Why did God allow this to happen to me?
If God is all powerful, truly loving, and with a snap of his fingers could fix this right now for me, why doesn’t he help?
If these are questions that you think about then our text today will help us. I want us to have a different perspective about suffering according the the Bible.
2 Corinthians 4:7
Verse 7- It is a word picture with 2 characters, treasure and clay jars.
Who is the treasure? ( verse 5-6, Paul says the treasure is Jesus)
