Intro

Hey Y’all! We are back for the first time in 2021. How is everyone? School good? I know it is hard to get back in to the swing of things after a good long break. Who was glad to be back at school? Who is ready for spring break? But it is a new year.
New Years are always fun, anybody set a new years resolution? I didn’t set one, if I did it would probably be, “To resolutely go to a Braves Game.” Which i have no idea what that means but, here I stand.
What’s y’all resolution if you set one? Okay cool.
Also, the last time we met, we had a different president, now we have a new one, the new guy is the guy who won the old guy fight we had in November. We will now see if this old white guy was better that the last old white guy to give it a go. Like him, don’t like him, it was a long road for us, but I think now we are safe from seeing any political tv commercials with bad camera cuts and weird rust colored camera filters.
Anyways, I do have one thing I’d like to share with y’all, mainly the people who went on the ski trip. Who all went? Raise your hands. We had a good time! Nothing too crazy happened unless your name is Kate Clark, everything wild happened to Mrs. Kate’s van. Literally two hours in to the trip this dude decided it wold be a good idea to not maintain his lane and side swiped her van. But everyone is okay, and we are good.
I want to tell y’all something. Probably the day after we got back, I got a text from the bus driver Mrs. Dianne, she was just saying thanks for letting her go, and she had fun but she said something about y’all that I would like to read to y’all. She said she was, “So honored to have been entrusted to drive such an impressive group of young people.” Y’all that may not sound like much that meant a lot to me, because that meant y’all were good kids, and y’all loved Mrs. Dianne well. So good job guys, I’m really proud of y’all.
So with that, let me ask you a question. What does it mean to believe something? Any takers? I’m not asking what it means for something to be true, I want to know what it means to believe something?
