I. Brand YOU Renewed

A. You are your own brand

1. Your brand is your story

2. Your story is your why

3. Your why is your obituary

B. The goals you have are not ends but springboards to your why

C. Your brand’s success is dependent on the quality and consistency of your leadership

D. If the brand fails and never succeeds it’s the leader’s fault.

II. The Priority of Self Leadership

A. Self-Leadership Principles:

1. Principle 1: You will never achieve your goals if you cannot first conquer the first obstacle: yourself

a. The major challenges to our growth is one or more of these:

i. Ignorance
ii. Unwillingness
iii. Lack of skill – in leading oneself.

2. Principle 2: If you cannot lead yourself to invest in yourself in order to be focused on your goal you will never reach your goal.

3. Principle 3: Self-leadership is about self- imposed boundaries that ensure the intentional and undistracted movement towards your goal

B. Self-Leadership Begins with Self-Awareness

1. What it is

a. Being personally knowledgeable and honest about weaknesses

b. The truth of my history + the truth of my present is who I am

i. Think about who you were last year

1) You had no goals – or

2) You had goals but did not execute – or

3) You had goals but half-executed

4) You have little or nothing to show from last year but

a) Frustration
b) Waste of time
c) Waste of a year of your entire life
i. 12 months
ii. 52 weeks
iii. 365 days
d) 8760 hours

a. What have you done with the last-

b. Is your activity in 2021 aiming at who you want to be in 2021?

3. Principles of Self Awareness

a. Principle 1: Self-awareness is only achieved when I am clear about who I am but who I am is only seen when I know who I want to be

b. Principle 2: Self-awareness gives you a clear picture of how you need to fight you.

III. The Power of Self Leadership

A. The Power of Routines (Habits)

1. Habits are those consistent, intentional and tiny routines you do everyday to become that person who achieves the desired ending to your story.
