Proverbs 20:11

It is by his deeds that a lad distinguishes himself

If his conduct is pure and right.

As our God is holy, so also should the children of God desire to distinguish themselves as being/belonging to Him in distinction from the world in which he lives.

Bottom Line: My deeds will be either pure/right or impure/wrong. I must be willing to evaluate everything I do and the motive behind my acting.

Prayer: Lord God, work in me both the willing/desiring to do all things with pure/right motives for the purpose of bringing glory to Your Name. I want to be distinguished as a follower of Jesus in my life.
