Predictions for the next 100 years:
-We will have the ability to communicate through thought transmission
-We will be able to control the weather
-Nanorobots will flow around our body fixing cells, and will be able to record our memories
-Deserts will become tropical forests
^One single worldwide currency
*We will all be wired to computers to make our brains work faster
*We will have sussed nuclear fusion
*There will only be three languages in the world - English, Spanish and Mandarin

NY Times - article poking fun at flying machines that couldn't fly - Editorial...
"...it might be assumed that the flying machine which will really fly might be evolved by the combined and continuous efforts of mathematicians and mechanicians in from one million to ten million years..."
2 months 8 days later, Orville & Wilbur Wright flew their "Wright Flyer" 4 times, mincluding a flight over 800 ft lasting nearly a full minute.
1920 Editorial - scoffed at the idea of a rocket being able to propel anything through space.

"I can do this without God!"
Evil because God made you, gives you life, breath...
Know there is a God, and if He's anything like the Bible says, we ought to honour Him, but act like there isn't a God or that He isn't anything like how the Bible describes Him

Candid Alarm (v14)

- Unpredictable
- Our "long-sighted" plans are short-sighted
- Planning for time but not for eternity

Conscious Admission (v15)

- Submission "If the Lord will..."
- Trust "...we shall live..."
- Service "...and do this, or that."
