YOU WILL RECOVER ALL

SCRIPTURE: 1 Samuel 30:1-8 * Our text shows how recovery differs from restoration - we pursue and overtake to recover. 1 Samuel 30:8 * In last year's theme of restoration, it was Jesus who did the restoration. John 10:10 * God can also make a thief restore what he has stolen from you. Proverbs 6:30-31 * In this story the restoration took place when God protected the families of David and his men from being killed by their captors. 1 Samuel 30:2 * We must discover to recover. 1 Samuel 30:7-8 * David had to leave 200 of his 600 men behind at the Brook Besor because they were too tired. What you need for your recovery is not about quantity but quality. 1 Samuel 30:9-10 * They found a starving a weak Egyptian who they fed and he led them to to the Amalekites and their recovery. 1 Samuel 30:11-15 * Don't let the pursuit of your recovery cause you to ignore those who need your help on your way to your recovery - the starving Egyptian you help may hold the key to your recovery. * David recovered ALL that he had lost and more - the spoil. 1 Samuel 30:18-20 * In 2021, may you recover ALL you have lost in 2020 and more. * David recognized that what they had recovered was for the Lord and was not selfish with it but shared it generously. 1 Samuel 30:21-26, 31 PRAYER POINTS 1. Thank and praise God that we have seen 2021 2. Thank God for all that we will recover in 2021. 3. Pray that the Lord will preserve ALL that He has restored to us so that we can recover it all. 4. God open our eyes, ears, and hearts to discover all that He has restored for us to recover all. 5. God empower us and give us the strength to pursue and overtake to recover all. 6. God help us to find any Egyptian or helper who holds the secret or key to our recovery. 7. God give us the wisdom to know how to invest or sow what we recover so we will continue to reap beyond our generation.
