Today’s Word “LET’S PUT IT ALL ON THE ALTAR” ISAIAH 6:5-8 KJV ISAIAH 6:5 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts. 6 Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off theISAIAH altar:6:5-8 KJV ISAIAH 6:7 And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged. 8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? ISAIAH 6:5-8 KJV LET’S PUT IT ALL ON THE ALTAR “LET’S PUT IT ALL ON THE ALTAR” • The prophet Isaiah reveals to us a process describing how deliverance takes place on the altar. • When we talk about the altar, we’re not just talking about the physical altar, but we’re also talking about the altar of our heart and mind that holds the expressions that govern how we live. “LET’S PUT IT ALL ON THE ALTAR” The Process of Putting it ALL on the Altar involves: 1. Acknowledging Our Faults • At some point you have to acknowledge that some of the stuff you’re dealing with in your life is due to your own fleshly faults. Trusting God’s Fix • We need to trust in the fix of God any way He wants to do it. Accept God’s Forgiveness • You need to know how to accept God’s forgiveness. • Stop feeling sorry for yourself now. • *Once you put it all on the altar, God says don’t let it worry no more. Receiving God’s Favor • You are favored by God to live in the world and be used by Him not only to serve, but to be blessed.
