f. God doesn’t give us a complete explanation that will eliminate all of our questions
1) if He did we couldn’t comprehend it
2) How are we to understand all that is involved in God’s activity
3) We can only comprehend God’s work from the completed project
4) we see the universe and by faith believe God did it
g. Hebrews 11:3 (NLT) By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.

3. Creation is attributed to the Father
a. Acts 4:24 (NLT) — When they heard the report, all the believers lifted their voices together in prayer to God: “O Sovereign Lord, Creator of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them—
b. 2 Kings 19:15 (NLT) — And Hezekiah prayed this prayer before the Lord: “O Lord, God of Israel, you are enthroned between the mighty cherubim! You alone are God of all the kingdoms of the earth. You alone created the heavens and the earth.

2) His Word is creative, and the saying was itself the making
f. The Word of God is active
g. Colossians 1:16 (NLT) — for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see— such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.

g. The Holy Spirit is hovering over, incubating the creation of the world but not only its creation but its existence
h. The Spirit of God was actively maintaining the creative substance called earth, doing everything needed to prepare it for God’s next stage in its development
i. The Holy Spirit’s incubating work is not complete, its on going
1)the Holy Spirit incubated the ministry of Jesus
2) the Kingdom of God has come but it yet it hasn’t as there is more to come
