In the incarnation, God has broken into the world in a way never seen before, deliberately in the lowest of circumstances. Jesus came in a humble, lowly manner to signal that the Son did not come to be served, but to serve - He came to give his life as a ransom for many. Jesus came, as the angels said, to bring good news of great joy. Through faith in Jesus' sacrificial death, believers enter into the joy of reconciliation.
