There are many people, both Christian and non-Christian, who believe one can live their best life now.
We live this life for God, through Jesus, in view that the best life is yet ahead—eternal life
Christian living or following God’s example is living the best life now because it is beneficial to you and those you come in contact with.
We have to be exact in our living, make the most of every opportunity, and do not be foolish but understand what the Lord’s will is.
The letter to the Ephesians helps establish a foundation for future teachings on how we live life for God as the light of the Lord, in every aspect.
Ephesians is divided into two categories: Chaps 1-3—doctrinal or theological knowledge and Chaps 4-6—practical knowledge
This letter is one of Paul’s prison letters. It shares common themes and language similar to those found in Colossians. The purpose seems to be to provide the church with a concise summary of God’s plan of salvation and encourage Jews and Gentiles to unity in the faith
Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

We live as children of the light, not in darkness as we once did (Ephesians 2:2; 4:17-19; 5:1; 5:8).
To live in the light we live using wisdom (Eph 1:8; 1:17).
Therefore, we live as the wise not the unwise

Those living foolishly does not mean they lack knowledge. Instead, it denotes moral stupidity in action. It is a contrast of the wise.
God wants us to know His will (Deut 29:29; Act 22:14)
What is His will? (Ephesians 1:9-10; 1 Thess 4:3) “there is more”
Offer our bodies as a living sacrifice (Romans 12:1-2).

Living your best life now does not include being overly happy with your circumstances or condition. Nor does it mean accumulating material possessions or accolades. Living the best life now means you live for the Lord now, with the understanding the best life is ahead. Christian living is living the best life now because it is beneficial to you and those you come in contact with. Therefore. . .
Watch how you live or be accurate in your living as a wise person according to God’s word
Make the most of the opportunity mercifully given by God to not only live godly lives but do good works appointed to us.
Do not be foolish. Test and approve the will of God through offering of yourself, prayer, and seeking.
