9 But, beloved, we are confident of better things concerning you, yes, things that accompany salvation, though we speak in this manner. 10 For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. 11 And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, 12 that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Covid, Politics is a mixture for disaster -
As we go through this time in our life, the life of the church. It has been a time of struggle, distractions, taking of sides, quartining, getting sick for some of us, the frustration of everything that is going on. Throughout this process we have a been transparent, seeing each others heart. Bro Eddie made a comment to David and I about not sure what he said at the staff meeting was encouraging. We both said it was like we are in the locker room and needed to hear the heart of the coach. I still remember the reaction of Russ and Rick when I found out that I had to tell someone not to come to church. We have seen saw raw moments from each other. Even seeing it from some church members, I had one said when we came back of why is not everyone one wearing a mask. We have all heard it but we have one thing in conman..... We serve a great God who is in control and our mission has not changed. Even if we get wore out, we just keep at to see people to come to Christ.
In Hebrews chapter 6:9-12 I was reading last week and this reminded me of how blessed I am to work with a staff that we are not just talk but of action. I have been places where it is the other way around. So I want to encourage you to ......
How we speak to others, during this time even when we get frustrated we speak of Love and be the example to others. Good reminder how we are to answer others. One thing that I am thankful for is that I am saved and I always try to have my conversation reflect that. When this start I was at Aldi’s and a lady said I was not on the blue dot, my first response was it doe not matter and then I stopped myself because it is not about me but how I speak reflects the Lord.
God sees our labor of Love, when other do not. Sometimes we can loose sight because of what is said by church members. During this time as we continue, with not knowing what is even next. let us continue to laboring with love. Even has we hear or think of what will happen , stay on the path, continue in what we have been doing. Being diligent on serving.
Do not become sluggish: The ideas is that we should not let discouragement make us sluggish, leading to the sense that we may as well give up. First we lose the desire to press on, then we lose the desire to go on.
I am so thankful to be part of this team that works so well together and how we have each others back. Let us encourage one another. Because God gives us the grace we need to get through this. As we continue to serve remain faithful, I know for me it has been neat to see how we all have come together to do what is needed. I know that serving with all of you my faith has increased. As I imitate what I see with all of you, my faith is increased. When seeing it all in action it makes it exciting to see how as we have remained faithful , the Lord. has blessed us
