Benefits of True Disciplemaking

 

1.                  The incredible reward of obeying God's last command and Great Commission which is ministry life's greatest fulfillment.  Jesus says to --live it/model it commanded/demanded--Matthew 28:18-20

2.                  The key to releasing one's maximum potential.  Success in marriage, family, job, ministry.  Every area (better husband, father, employee, i.e. mentor Tiger, Michael Jordan etc.)--Colossians 1:28-29

3.                  When done biblically is a vital key to world evangelism-- Matthew 28:19

4.                  Most fulfilling practice in life.  Makes the Word come alive and releases it to reproduce through you on much deeper and broader levels.--Psalm 119:165, I Thessalonians 2:13, Jeremiah 1:12; John 1:1, 14

5.                  God's Divine Purpose--Genesis 1:28 ( We were born to reproduce)

                        Spiritual disciplines, prayer, etc

8.                  Increases love and commitment and intimacy for Jesus and His Word--Proverbs 15:32

                  Discipline & Effectiveness

9.                  Greatest thing you can do for a baby Christian--Acts 2:41-47

10.              Prioritizes the Word and other priorities--Matthew 4:4; II Timothy 3:16;

11.              Empowers to war against enemy--Ephesians 6:17

12.              Produces servant leaders--We were never called to just be Christians or disciples but disciple makers--II Timothy 2:1-2; Hebrews 5:12-14
