Theme: Jesus, like Israel, was tempted by Satan in the wilderness. There we see Moses telling the people of Israel that they are going to be tempted to forget that it is God who gave them everything. He released them from slavery in Egypt, He protected them in the wilderness and He fought their battles for them, He is the source of their blessings. We learn to never get so distracted by the blessings we have that we forget it is God that gave them to us.
