Today is the Memorial St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Virgin.

She was born in Italy youngest of 13 children, studies with Daughters of the Sacred Heart, and after completing her certificate, started teaching at the age of 18 in elementary school and in orphanage. In the 1880 many Italian immigrates were on their way to the United States, and fearing that they would lose their faith if they had not priests and sisters, Pope Leo XIII together with Bishop Scalabrini asked Mother Cabrini to adopt the US as her mission filed. She arrived in Yew York in 1889 with 6 sisters. They started schools opened hospitals and orphanages and thought catechism to children. She died in Chicago from malaria, and was canonized by Pope Pius XII in 1946.
In out 1st reading the apostle John says John says certain progressive deceivers have gone out into the world denying apostolic teaching, “of Jesus Christ coming in the flesh”, he calls them antichrists. John reminds us the Commandment to love one another, and to love he says is to remain in the teaching of Christ. The teaching that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh, that Jesus is the Son of God Incarnate. He says whoever remains in this teaching has the Father and the Son.
In the Gospel Jesus is talking about the end of this age coming swiftly, like the days of Noah and Lot in Sodom Gomorrah, were every thing seemed normal, people where going about their daily business as usual on that last day, every thing seemed normal, but in the eyes of God, everywhere he looked, he saw corruption and lawlessness.
Can you tell the difference between progressive thought, and deceptive progressive thought from the antichrist, that contradict God’s word and teachings of the Catholic and Apostolic Faith? We need to know the difference, especially these days when the world is not lacking in corruption and lawlessness, so that we may know, love and serve the one and true God Father Son and Holy Spirit.
