The LORD’s Name (Part 2)
1. In this three-part series on the LORD’s Name we are studying:
a. What the LORD’s Name is.
b. How the LORD wants to use His Name in the lives of His people.
c. How we receive and put on the LORD’s Name.
2. Last week we learned that the LORD has several names that describe certain of His characteristics and what He does:
a. Elohim (Great); El-Shaddai (Almighty); Adonai (Lord); Tsidkenu (Righteousness); Jireh (Provider); Rophe (Healer); M’kaddesh (Sanctifier); Rohi (Shepherd); Nissi (Banner);Shalom (Peace)
3. The LORD has one proper name, YHWH, which is His covenant name with the Israelites.
a. Later the LORD revealed Himself to Moses as “I AM” and then specified, “I Am ... YHWH”
4. The LORD’s Name as revealed in the Old Testament was fully revealed in the Lord Jesus Christ!

Conclusion: The LORD’s Name gives you your identity; it clothes you; it grants you privilege.
Be true to the Name of the LORD which He has put on you!
No matter how hard it gets, no matter what trials you face ... remain true to the Name of Jesus!
