Habakkuk 3:16–19 NIV84
16 I heard and my heart pounded, my lips quivered at the sound; decay crept into my bones, and my legs trembled. Yet I will wait patiently for the day of calamity to come on the nation invading us. 17 Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, 18 yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior. 19 The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on the heights. For the director of music. On my stringed instruments.

1. Though the enemy invades us, Yet the Lord is my Strength

The Lord has promised to protect us
The Lord is still on the throne
The Lord is still able to do great things
The Lord is able to change things
If the Lord spoke it, It will happen

2. Though the fruit trees and gardens don’t produce fruit, Yet I will Praise the Lord

The fruit was used for sugar - it was a luxury
The grapes were used for everyday drink - people would thirst without it
If the stock market tanks, God is still God
These are luxuries
God is still Jehovah-Jireh

3. Though the farms don’t produce the crops, Yet I will Praise the Lord

The olive oil and the crops were necessary for every day needs
Food, cooking, sanitizing
If the dollar loses its value, God is still God
If the prices of gas and food increase, God is still able to provide
God is still Jehovah-Jireh
God is still Jehovah-Shalom

4. Though the livestock all die, Yet I will Praise the Lord

The livestock was where the meat came from
The livestock was where milk came from
The livestock was where wool for clothing came from
If the economy completely collapses, God is still God
God is still Jehovah-Jireh
God is still Jehovah-Roi
God is still Jehovah-Shalom

5. Though everything is going down, Yet the Lord takes me to high places

A thousand may fall on one side and 10,000 on the other, but they can’t touch this
God protected Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego from the fire
God can protect you from any calamity
God protected Daniel in the Lion’s Den
God can protect you in the USA
God provided for Jacob and all his family during the famine
God can provide for you during devastation
God used Egypt to provide for His children
God will use the enemy to provide for you
The wealth of the wicked is stored up for the righteous
No weapon formed against you will prosper
Those that wait upon the Lord will go above
Like eagles we will go above the storm
In the midst of low places, we will go to high places
God is still able
God is still on His Throne
God is still for us
God still has a good plan
God is still the Promise Keeper
