Good morning Timberlake Church – My name is Mike and I am so glad that you have decided to join with us this morning for a great message on what it means to be here!! To be #ForDuvall.
I am not sure about you, but when I love to go on social media and look at the creative costumes people came up with. Today I want to start by looking a few of the classics that I’ve seen over the years, some going back decades most of these are people I don’t even know…
A few years ago, one of my friends dressed their son up as the old man from the movie UP.
This next one is from a family that obviously put something together at the last minute. They dressed their kids up like a bag of groceries. Those poor kids. Those are hideous costumes.
Here’s a deeply disturbing picture of pennywise… this kid is like four years old. He’s probably scared of himself.
Another very deeply disturbing one is Ernie and Bert. It looks like plastic surgery gone very wrong.
Here’s one that’s just plain awkward!
Just one more. I love this. It’s very religious… The Wages of Sin is Death.
Do not rebuke an older man harshly, but exhort him as if he were your father. Treat younger men as brothers, older women as mothers, and younger women as sisters, with absolute purity.
If any woman who is a believer has widows in her care, she should continue to help them and not let the church be burdened with them, so that the church can help those widows who are really in need.
I charge you, in the sight of God and Christ Jesus and the elect angels, to keep these instructions without partiality, and to do nothing out of favoritism.
