The presentation is to give the context for the Rev 14 and the three Cosmic Messages.
He covers four episodes in Rev 12.

Episode 1: The Battle for the Throne
7 And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, 8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. 9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Why is this called Episode 1?
This is going back to the original war in heaven.
Christ forever settled, is settling, and will settle, the issues from this war
Describe the cosmic conflict between good and evil?
What stands out to you in this verse about eternal choices?
Every angel had to make a choice.
Every person has to make a choice about the Lord.
Every person through the general grace of God has the capacity to choose for or against the Lord.
There is no neutrality.
Sitting on the fence, living on the fence, is choosing against the Lord.
What the Lord ask for is entire commitment to Jesus, as He is to us.
Jesus has never lost a battle to Satan!

4 His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born. 5 She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne.
In the second episode of the conflict, where does Satan focus his attention?
On destroying the Male Child
Define the symbols below?
a. Dragon = Satan.
b. Woman = Church.
c. Male Child = Jesus.
d. Rod of Iron = Symbol of rulership and dominion.
8 Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession. 9 You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel.’ ”
Caught up to God is Christ’s ascension.

6 Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days.
13 Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child. 14 But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.
Day = Year principle
6 And when you have completed them, lie again on your right side; then you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days. I have laid on you a day for each year.
1260 days also in Rev. 11:3
As 42 months in Rev. 11:2; 13:5; (42*30 = 1260 days)
As 3 1/2 times in Dan. 7:25; 12:7; Rev. 12:14. (12*30 = 360 *3= 1080 + 180 = 1260 days)
Adventists generally date this period from A.D. 538 to A.D. 1798.
The Dark Ages.
From when the Roman church comes to power in Rome to the French Revolution captures the Pope.
During this period in the wilderness, God’s hand was over the church, preserving it, nourishing it, from extinction.
Mark Finley related this period on the wilderness to wilderness times in our life and how the Lord wants to nourish us during such times.

Am I totally sold out to Jesus?
