1.) Discovery Of The Kingdom Comes Through A Variety Of Ways.

Some people are following Christ, who never thought they would
Romans 10:20, “I was found by those who did not seek me; I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me.”
Matthew 13:45-46a, “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. When he found one…”
Other people are following Christ and their quest for the kingdom has been a long, conscience one.
Jeremiah 29:13-14, “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord…”

2.) We Must Recognize The Great Value Of Our Discovery.

Matthew 13:44b, “When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.”
Matthew 13:46b, “When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it.”

3.) Following Jesus Is Worth All We Have.

Philippians 3:7-8, “But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things, I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ…”
