Stairway to Heaven

In this sermon, Pastor Carl preaches through John 1:43-51 and Jesus’ calling of Phillip and Nathanael. Jesus tells Nathanael that he will see the heavens open and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man (a clear allusion to Jacob’s dream at Bethel in Genesis 28). The point being is that it is Jesus Christ, the Son of God and King of Israel, who brings heaven down to earth.
