So we are continuing what we started last week “I DON’T HAVE TO BE AFRAID” where we are talking about Fear! The world is full of things that want to try to scare you. In fact during October especially we like to go around scaring kids and people.
Do any of you like to be scared? I now for me it takes a lot to scare me but when i have been scared, I’m super scared. I fact i once went to bed one night and woke up so scared that i didn’t want to even move. I was scared out of my mind. But guess what “ i don’t have to be afraid!” In fact we have a verce that we are memorizing to remind us what we do have.
Do i have anyone that can come up here and say what that is for us?
7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
God dose not want us to be afraid. He is a good God. He is here to help us and like this verce says give us POWER, LOVE AND SOUND MIND.This is important for us to not just memorize but to actually live out. I DON’T HAVE TO BE AFRAID! AND THE REASON IS GOD HAS NOT GIVEN ME A SPIRIT OF FEAR.
Now this week we are continuing on the theme that we started last week. Just in case you are just visiting us today or missed last week we are talking about the end times in threshold. Now i know in this day in age we have movies, books, and all kinds of different stories on the END OF THE WORLD but this is actually something that will happen someday. No one knows when but Jesus talks about this with his disciples!
In Matthew 24 Jesus takes about the signs that we can look for that will help us know when the end times is close. It talks about nations fight nations and kingdoms fighting other kingdoms(Different ethnic groups) There will be people that stand up saying that “I’m Christ” and lead people astray from the real God. There will be earthquakes and famines in different places over the world. These are all things that will let us know that the end times are near.
And last week we talked about the second coming of Jesus and the Rapture. We learned that the Rapture just means to be caught up and that everyone who believes in Jesus will find themselves up in the sky with Jesus. Its a big deal.
Now this is all for the believers that have excepted Jesus Christ into there lives, so what will happen to those left behind. Well the Bible in-fact has a story in it that Jesus answers that exact question to his disciples.
See after the Rapture of Gods people there will be 7 years of what we see the bible call the Great tribulation.
21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be.
Jesus was not joking when he said this was something that has never been seen or will be seen. In the Bible it talks about
darkness and thunder.
fire coming down on land and sea
1/3 of the sun, moon and stars getting destroyed
people being torched and people losing there life
This is all sad guys. This is God’s judgment and wrath on the earth for the evil things that has happened while we where on earth. And after the great tribulation Jesus comes back again on a white horse and everyone that was raptured up will be in one final battle. Fighting Satan had his demons, and Jesus gets the victory. JESUS WINS
After that where is one final judgement that comes

This a final judgement of those how are not found in the book of life. It says in the bible that you will be looked up in this book and if you are not found in it you will be cased into the lake of fire, the second death. This is super sad.

This sound bad but is actually the place you want to find yourself. This is where you and Jesus will look back at your life and see what you did. And you will resave rewards according to all that you did here on earth.

God will judge us, that is for sure, but we get to receive a reward for that good things we did while we where on earth.
We don’t have to be afraid of this judgement to come, or the things that we have just talked about remember 2 timothy 1:7. We share this with you so that we can prepare and look forward to the day that we get to be with God. But also we need to make sure are friends and loved ones know about this as well. That is why its important to share with friends about Jesus
Lets make sure that we don’t walk in fear and help are friends avoid the bad things that will happen if they don’t find themselves in christ.
