What does it mean for the sheep (Christians) to be in his hands?
No one can snatch us from Jesus’ hands. He is infinitely strong.
Sidebar: Jesus is one with God. Jesus IS God. He is the second person of the Trinity.
Some people say that Jesus never claimed to be God, but they’re wrong He did it in John 10:30. Even his enemies agreed that this is what he was claiming and attempted to kill him.
1 Peter 5:8 - Satan prowls around like a lion, seeking whom he may devour. But he can’t snatch us out of God’s hands if we truly know him.
James 4:7 - Submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you.
