Greetings…
Over the last couple of weeks we have been looking at the theme “Christian Bond” based on passages wherein the phrase “one another” is found.
This series is built around Hebrews 10:24-26 with the goal of reminding us how to stir one another up to love and good works every time we come together for worship.
24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. 26 For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,
This series began by looking at how we stir one another up to love.
We do this, in part, by being reminded each time we enter those doors that we are family and that our love can abound more and more as we are around each other more.
We then looked, last week, at how we can stir one another up to good works.
Every time we gather to worship, we are assembling with those that are…
Welcoming, encouraging, kind, humble, all the while teaching and admonishing one another.
Today I want us to focus on two more “good works” if you will that we are reminded of and encouraged by when we gather together in fellowship to worship our great and awesome God.

7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
Agreement.
Agreement.
Fellowship without agreement is not fellowship.
You hear people say all the time, “we can agree to disagree” and still be in fellowship.
This might be true in many aspects of life, but it is far from true with God’s people as we are to “agree with one anther.”
11 Finally, brothers, rejoice. Aim for restoration, comfort one another, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.
We are to speak the same things, have no divisions, and be perfectly joined together in mind & judgement.
10 Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
6 that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Now “agreeing with one another” isn’t based on “my own righteousness” rather fellowship or agreement can only be found “in the Lord.”

Living In Harmony.
Living In Harmony.
One of the great blessings of coming together, in fellowship, to worship our God is the harmony that each of us worship in and are preparing to live for in eternity.
The righteous, no matter their race, gender, education, economics, or culture can live in beautiful harmony as we worship our God together once we all agree in the Lord.
Every time we come together to worship we are reminded how we can worship and live together in perfect harmony in the Lord.
16 Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight.
5 May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus,

Summary
Every time we gather together to worship the Ancient of Times, we are reminded of the great fellowship we have with God and each other while walking in the light.
Each person that comes through the doors to worship with each other person here is a beautiful reminder of “our” fellowship, “our” like mindedness, “our” journey together to in hope and harmony of our goal of heaven.

When we gather the church together at this building in fellowship for worship there are constant reminders of the service that is needed through submission to one another.
Whether it be the teachers, greeters, leaders of the prayers, communion, and other aspects it doesn’t take long to see the need to submit to one anther through serving each other.
When we examine the term “service” there are several passages that point to how we can submit to one another through our severing one another.
We submit and serve one another with humility.
3 Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.
5 Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”
We submit and serve one another with love.
13 For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
We submit and serve one another with hospitality.
9 Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. 10 As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace:
We submit and serve one another by genuinely caring for each other.
25 that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another.
Lastly, we submit and serve one another by doing good to each other.
15 See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone.

Summary
Every time we gather together to worship our God of Peace we are reminded of how blessed we are to serve each other and be there for each other.
To be able to encourage, help, welcome, care, do good, or any other service.

Brethren, you and I are the most blessed people in Ramona and the surrounding area because we each were able to come again and worship our God this evening.
All the while being reminded of the great fellowship the church has and service we can provide for one another as we all strive to get to heaven.
