At the Temple, during the time of the afternoon prayers, Peter had just healed a man who had been lame all of his life (over 40 years). A crowd gathered, and Peter used this miracle to point this crowd to Jesus and indict them for Jesus' death, while affirming Jesus' resurrection. What can we learn from the first part of Peter's response to the crowd? [Hint: Peter indicts these Israelite men for denying Jesus - sound familiar?]

Peter Explains the Lame Man's Healing (Acts 3:12-16): A Former Denier Indicts Deniers In Acts 3:1-11, Peter and John, while entering the Temple at the time of the afternoon prayer, encounter a man, lame from birth, begging for money. Peter commands the man to stand, and then pulls him to his feet, fully healed. The man proceeds to be standing, leaping, and walking, none of which he has ever done before.
