Romans 1:14–17 CSB
I am obligated both to Greeks and barbarians, both to the wise and the foolish. So I am eager to preach the gospel to you also who are in Rome. For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, first to the Jew, and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith, just as it is written: The righteous will live by faith.
There is so much to look at when reading this passage as we dive in to this but first lets dive in to this with the start of Prayer.

The Obligation

As we look in to this the first thing that we are going to look at is the Obligation that is put forth by Paul actually relates to us more than we realize. As We read this we see that what Paul in saying that we are called to support all the different types of people that come in to the church.
Meaning we are called to be a multi-generational church. It crazy how in this passage that we can see this.
First thing I love to point out is you can really see the education that Paul recieved as a roman citizen Just by the way he worded the phrase they are Greeks and Barbarians. Barbarians meaning Jews and anyone that is not Greek.
Lets talk about that Obligation and what does it mean to us. See what Paul is saying here is that we are expected to what to share the gospel with everyone.
It doesn’t matter what the age, race, gender. The Gospel is for everyone Jesus died for all of us. We as a church have to be willing to welcome in anyone and everyone that comes through that door just as Christ would have.
He tells us in Matthew at his last command before going to heaven to Make Disciples of all nations Matthew 28:19.
It say all nations meaning that Jesus is for Everyone and anyone. We have to be willing and welcoming to everyone that comes to the church.
Notice the second part of 14 Where he says I’m eager to preach the gospel.
We should not only be welcoming we should be excited to enjoy fellowship and bible study with everyone of the church.
Meaning Maybe it time to start invited the youth to things or vice versa maybe it time to step out of your comfort zone and be willing to welcome the change that comes over time of the church.
Next we are going to talk about the big question are you ashamed of the gospel.

Being Ashamed

See here as we continue in our passage.
Romans 1:16 CSB
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, first to the Jew, and also to the Greek.
There is so much power in one verse. We are call to be multi-generation. We as a church are called to be a family focused church. because of this verse right here. Are you ashamed of the Gospel. Because Paul is pretty clear he believes in the power of God so much that he will share it with anyone and welcome anyone in to the church.
As a Follower of Christ we believe God has the power to Save anyone. By not welcoming the families in to the Church we are not showing Gods Power but instead we are showing that We are Ashamed of the God.
It is time to Change the way we think church. Our God in the God that Saves. Our God is the God that change Hearts and mind, Our God is the Living God It is time to start sharing it with everyone and shouting it from the rooftop.
As we finish out this passage we will see why it is so important to have youth and children and adults together in one church.

Faith To Faith

Romans 1:17 CSB
For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith, just as it is written: The righteous will live by faith.
The Righteousness of God is Revealed from Faith to Faith. I want to look at this just because we worship God in Different ways or have different way to learn the Gospels Does not mean you have to steer clear of the people here. The big thing that matters is we have the same hope and faith in Jesus. this passage here is very clear when it say we will finally start to see the righteousness of God When you welcome and embrace the other people of the church. and when we start to see it we will start to live it.
The biggest complaint as a Youth Pastor I Hear is that the youth run wild and are out of control and I have to fix it. I'm here to tell you I don't have to fix it if you live and righteous live and start showing them Gods Love and they will start to live it.

Are You Ready to Embrace.
